Overview

We are seeking to fill the role of Property Preservation Support Specialist. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with clients, industry partners and internal teams to maximize outcomes for homeowners. 

Responsibilities

 

• Serve as main point of contact for field asset vendor questions and concerns
• Research, resolve, and track highly escalated vendor accounts, issues, and inquiries and ensure resolution
• Prepare trending and tracking data/reports to management as needed
• Interact with vendors and staff to ensure concerns and inquiries are promptly and appropriately addressed, including law/regulatory changes addressed by vendor
• Make recommendations to change and update processes/procedures and management controls based on problem research and the solution to escalated issues and concerns
• Maintain thorough knowledge of and follow all investor/government/client/LoanCare policies, procedures, and requirements for assigned duties
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the LPS Desktop PM Workstation, default workstations, MSP, Invoice Management, and other systems and software utilized in default
• Assist with identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce expenses
• Assist the Supervisors and Managers with special projects, including preparing management review reports, and conducting quality control audits
• Facilitate vendor invoices or research requests through Invoice Management; ensure charges for inspections are accurate
• Work with HUD contractors/attorneys to achieve HUD conveyance condition for HUD claims filing; organize and monitor HUD extensions through conveyance condition process
• Mentor and provide training for new and existing Property Preservation Specialists
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4+ years of experience in default mortgage servicing or mortgage banking
  • Leadership experience required
  • Knowledge of accepted business practices in the mortgage industry and/or strong understanding of conveyance claims process and property preservation
  • LPS-MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly, make sound decisions, and resolve issues
  • Ability to work in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and effectively meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team environment to attain common goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and by telephone
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Compensation Range: $16.54-$24.71 annually. Actual compensation may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills and experience.
