Overview

The Special Products Supervisor oversees the servicing of specialized loan products, ensuring compliance with investor guidelines and regulatory requirements. This role is responsible for supervising and developing staff, managing workflows, and implementing operational controls to mitigate risk

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, coach and counsel assigned staff.
• Handle administrative functions related to Human Resources, e.g., scheduling, time off reports, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Establish procedures for servicing various types of special loans and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Implement and monitor key controls; manage appropriate operational risks.
• Stay current with government regulations and compliance requirements related to loan servicing.
• Assist with management of vendors used within department.
• Regularly review departmental workflows, performance impacts, and implementation of new processes/strategies that affect the department.
• Recommend strategies/priorities for supporting SLA deliverables to help establish group policies/procedures.
• Prepare/review various department reports, forms, correspondence, email, and logs.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve departmental policies and procedures, including drafting, reviewing, testing, and approving updates; ensure staff training and compliance with established standards
• Works with Conversions team to provide applicable mapping and data definition support as well as related UAT testing for bulk conversions.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5+ years of mortgage servicing experience with emphasis on special loans required.
  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing systems and investor guidelines required.
  • Proven track record of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality/continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Black Knight mortgage servicing systems required
  • Knowledge of Special Loans workstations required.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask while maintaining a high level of organization. • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Compensation Range: $58,700 - $98,600 annually. Actual compensation may vary within the range provided, depending on a number of factors, including qualifications, skills and experience.

About Remote Employment

We provide the necessary equipment; all you need is a quiet, private place in your home and a high-speed internet connection with a minimum network download speed of 25 megabits per second (MBPS) and a minimum network upload speed of 10 MBPS.  

 

 

Work Conditions

Able to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary.

  • Walking and standing up to 10% of the time
  • Occasional lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
