Responsibilities

  • Oversee, manage, coach, counsel and develop assigned staff
  • Build and supervise a team of highly functioning and efficient marketing professionals that spans creative; communications; public relations and social media; digital marketing; and sales support
  • Work collaboratively with executive and divisional leadership to understand, develop, and support company goals, culture, and strategies
  • Develop strategic marketing plans and actions backed by research and explore new methods of marketing/promotion
  • Oversee direct mail and email marketing to mortgage loan customers
  • Oversee creation and development of all promotional sales/collateral materials, advertisements, and multi-media presentations while adhering to an appropriate level of professionalism, timeliness, translation, cost-effectiveness, and representation of the company
  • Implement and manage client, sales, employee, and marketplace feedback loops and market-research initiatives to stay informed on current trends
  • Review marketing projects to ensure appropriate company and divisional messages are presented
  • Develop department budgeting in accordance with company guidelines
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of company marketing efforts against goals/budgets/benchmarks
  • Maintain proactive media relations to support company, divisional, and product objectives; coordinate media interest in the company; ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests
  • Oversee internal and external corporate communications
  • Ensure articulation and communication of company’s desired image, positioning, logos, templates, etc.
  • Manage company’s digital marketing and footprint (including websites, digital collateral, graphical/user interfaces for client-facing technologies, social media, etc.)
  • Support company-wide product development as appropriate
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
• Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, public relations, and brand management
• 5+ years of experience leading a marketing team
• Track record of success in senior-level marketing
• Prior marketing experience with financial services companies strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success managing direct mail and email marketing
• Proven ability to work with senior-level leadership to develop/implement marketing strategies
• Excellent leadership, motivational, and decision-making skills
• Strong ability to manage financial aspects of marketing, including planning/managing a budget, prioritization of spending, and cost/benefit analysis
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.) and other presentation/documentation tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a keen eye for detail

 

 

About Remote Employment

Work Conditions 

Able to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary.
