Overview

We are seeking to fill the role of Escrow Insurance Manager. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with clients, industry partners and internal teams to maximize outcomes for homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, counsel, and develop assigned staff in the mortgage insurance, loss draft, and  property insurance division
• Oversee insurance vendor(s), which includes monitoring scorecards, performance, and conducting quality control audits.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage insurance, loss draft, and property insurance regulatory requirements.
• Oversee division workflow to ensure adherence with service level requirements.
• Establish goals, specific to each division, and monitor progress.
• Identify training needs, develop and facilitate training sessions.
• Manage and assist in escalation resolution for client and customer requests, including root cause analysis.
• Develop and implement improvements that drive quality, efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain a working knowledge of mortgage loan servicing job functions.
• Communicate with investors, insurers, vendors, and/or business partners.
• Monitor key performance indicators and ensure they are met by specialists and division leadership.
• Keep management informed on project progress, policies/procedures, vendor and specialist performance levels.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of escrow servicing experience in mortgage loan servicing (insurance vendor or escrow department preferred).
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience (preferred escrow servicing experience).
• Advanced knowledge of state/federal laws and regulations applicable to mortgage and consumer lending.
• Advanced knowledge of ICE/MSP (f/k/a BKFS) required.
• Considerable knowledge of SQL, PowerBI and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Ability to motivate, mentor, train/coach, evaluate performance, and lead multifunctional staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and explain performance data and trends.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze accounts/records of a complex and detailed nature.
• Ability to manage time and priorities wisely.
• Ability to grasp concepts quickly, make sound decisions, and resolve issues.
• Ability to work in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment.
• Ability to work independently and effectively meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with peers in a team environment.

Work Conditions 

Able to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary.

 

 

Physical Demands

  • Sitting up to 90% of the time
  • Walking and standing up to 10% of the time
  • Occasional lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
