Responsibilities

• Ensure the foreclosure referral checklist is completed accurately and timely and all appropriate signatures are included; confirm the servicing system is noted accurately with the respective response codes
• Ensure the correct foreclosure attorney is assigned to the loan utilizing the Attorney Referral matrix
• Review daily DLQ 60 Report to qualify loans eligible for foreclosure
• Responsible for the daily executive management dashboard metrics
• Drive workflow to offshore team to complete the initial review of the foreclosure referral
• Identify loans that may contain inaccurate stops preventing foreclosure referral and work with the respective department to have them updated correctly
• Ensure SCRA reviews are complete and included in the foreclosure referral package
• Confirm all required foreclosure referral documents are contained within the foreclosure document package and provide feedback/examples to the offshore team/ Default Compliance Specialist if needed
• Partner with the Loss Mitigation department to ensure loans are being processed timely and returned to Foreclosure to proceed with the foreclosure referral
• Communicate in a professional manner with attorneys, homeowners, and title companies
• Attends onsite hearings, mediations, and trials as needed
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years’ experience in pre-foreclosure or related field
• Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all state pre-foreclosure document requirements

• Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, FHA & VA servicing default requirements
• Experience in State, Federal and Agency guidelines pertaining to foreclosure and bankruptcy is preferred
• Knowledge of Passport or comparable query software is a plus
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of audiences
• Excels at cross-functional communication and motivation
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

WORK CONDITIONS

 

Able to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary.
