Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of tests for operational business lines to meet regulatory and agency guidelines, as well as exceed client and customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage control/exception reports and/or manual tests to identify, quantify, improve, and remediate defects across operational lines of business.
  • Draft processes and procedures for Quality Assurance.
  • Track, resolve, and ensure appropriate actions are taken to log findings in the appropriate system of record, notating a detailed explanation of the issue and resolution, and correctly route results, for reporting purposes.
  • Provide insight to QA leadership and lines of business that identifies root cause issues and proposes solutions to improve processes and results.
  • Communicate with lines of business to coordinate efforts, identify areas of opportunity, and enhance processes.
  • Apply knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA, private investor, insurer, agency, and servicing rules/guidelines to drive resolution and assist during planning sessions with the QA leadership team, QA Business Analysts, and business line management teams.
  • Attend meetings and project plan sessions with QA Business Analyst and leadership.
  • Monitor QA Analysts’ testing performance by tracking timeliness and quality of tests performed.
  • Assist in training QA Analysts and provide backup support to work functions, as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically within mortgage servicing
  • 2+ years of previous leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in root cause analytics
  • Knowledge of state/federal laws and regulations applicable to mortgage loan servicing
  • Knowledge of Black Knight products, including but not limited to MSP & LoanSphere
  • Ability to receive and provide clear direction
  • Ability to adapt to frequently changing processes and procedures
  • Analytical and mathematical ability sufficient to identify potential issues
  • Ability to manage time and priorities wisely
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly, make sound decisions, and resolve issues
  • Ability to work in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and effectively meet deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team environment to attain common goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and by telephone with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
